International Standardisation is crucial to cross-border trade and manufacturing. Consequently, system interoperability is key to set the standards for future production. This panel shall determine the current state and highlight the latest ideas and approaches to further international standardisation. In addition, a basic set of requirements to achieve an internationally agreed set of rules and norms shall be laid out in order to highlight future paths of research and innovation.
