Social-ecological market economy mission statement
The social market economy is the foundation of our free, open and solidary society. The central idea of the social market economy is to protect the freedom of the economy and functioning competition while at the same time promoting prosperity and social security in our country. However, in order to ensure the protection of global environmental assets such as the climate or biodiversity, a fundamental further development of the political regulatory framework is required.
The social market economy needs to be re-established as a socio-ecological market economy so that the framework for our way of living, working and doing business is maintained even under changed conditions. The socio-ecological market economy is the best prerequisite for renewing the promise of prosperity and security for people and combining it with climate protection.
