With CDP Studio you can build a distributed control system with a combination of small embedded Linux devices, automation controllers, industrial computers, and even Windows desktop systems. All part of an integrated system, developed on the same platform.

A vision to simplify control system development, create reusable and robust components and to increase testing efficiency resulted in the creation of the Control Design Platform (CDP). CDP has evolved from a text based toolbox to become a fully integrated graphical development environment with CDP Studio and is based on CDP Framework release 4.

CDP Technologies is located in the center of the maritime cluster on the west coast of Norway. The system was initially used to develop mission critical real-time distributed control systems for use in the maritime industry. CDP has since evolved to be suited for a range of industries and application areas.
