Energy Efficiency in Industrial Processes (EEIP) is a not-for-profit technology-neutral cross-sectorial platform, launched at the European Commission in April 2011. Since then, EEIP became the biggest and fastest growing network of its kind currently passing 150.000 members globally. Our goal is to support the functioning of industrial energy markets through information exchange and networking.
EEIP covers the entire ecosystem of industrial energy efficiency including energy users, service and equipment providers, financing sector, IT, consultancies and policymakers. EEIP is now reaching out into interlinked sectors such as energy storage, smart grids, smart cities, district energy, buildings and mobility, covering the full spectrum of Energy Transition in Europe. EEIP uses innovative communication and engagement approaches to enable industry and policy to achieve higher energy efficiency and sustainable manufacturing, while, at the same time, enhancing competitiveness for industries.
