HANNOVER MESSE 2020,
20 - 24 April
Real-time simulation and optimization of material safety, material cycle capability and costs for BIM.
The simulations and optimizations make use of object-based 3D modelling with the innovative Building Information Modelling (BIM) technology, which is becoming increasingly established in the construction industry. Hence the name ''GREENbimlabs'', the laboratory for the development of sustainable BIM software products.
The software is aimed at planners, manufacturers, construction companies, authorities, builders and building operators who want to recycle valuable raw materials and at the same time increase the long-term profitability of construction projects. Users can use the software to perform automated evaluations and optimizations on their BIM building model. The simulations running in the background take into account the reusability, recyclability, waste generation and the resulting maintenance and life cycle costs of the materials and construction products used. Applications are also planned for simulating conversion and maintenance work or dismantling work at the end of the life cycle.
