alaska/ModellerStudio is a software for the development and analysis of simulation models of technical systems according to the method of multi-body dynamics (multibody simulation).
With the interactive front end of the alaska/ModellerStudio, simulation models are developed and used interactively. By dragging and dropping model components that are provided in modeling libraries, simulation models are created step by step and completely transparent to the model developer.
Directly in the alaska/ModellerStudio, the dynamic behavior of the modeled system is simulated. A series of standard analysis tasks such as calculation of a consistent initial position, calculation of equilibrium states, non-linear analysis in the time domain as well as linear system analysis are available.
During the execution of analysis tasks, the user has permanent control over the current system behavior, graphically in the 3D viewer, in arbitrarily definable diagrams as well as component views, which display all relevant MBS information of the model components permanently and simultaneously to the progress of the simulation calculation.
