CYLINDERS WITH MECHANICHAL BLOCKAGE OF THE PISTON
Support cylinders for trucks, bridges and equipment where it is important for the piston remain still even in case of pressure drops in the chambers or in case of valve, pipe or pipefi tting failures.
Mechanical/hydraulic device applicable to the front of a typical hydraulic cylinder with threaded guide for the purpose of achieving piston anchorage in any stroke position.
The blockage holds even without hydraulic pressure and is exerted by
friction directly on the chromed part of the piston by means of a set of
springs which are adequately dimensioned according to the load the piston
must bear. The jaws' material prevents damaging the rod even in case of
heavy use and, should the applied load exceed the design load, the only
result will be a braked sliding of the piston.
To enable the cylinder's advance and retract stroke it is suffi cient to release
the jaws by applying oil pressure from the appropriate pipefi tting and feed
the cylinder from the two blocks.
The simple and compact construction allows for reduced overall
dimensions and facilitates the use by hydraulic designers.
Cylinders with built-in cartridge valves.
Hydraulic cylinders for working pressures of up to 350-500 Bar, high working frequency even in presence of radial loads, suitable to operate in difficult enviromental ...
Designed for working pressures max 250 bar, bottom and guide are bolted using high-strength screws to the flanges.
Welded cylinders: for medium-light applications working up to 220 Bar, they are single and doubleacting hydraulic cylinders with welded bottom and
mounts and threaded front guide.
