In the DC-INDUSTRIE research project, the Fraunhofer IPA is developing solutions for decentralized energy and load flow management in the context of intelligent grid management together with industrial and research partners. In addition to the basic technology, it is about the design of the control parameters under the condition of stability in all operating conditions and the efficiency of the system. The IPA translates the results into planning and design tools that support the planner in the transition to the new DC technology. A structured procedure for the system design will be developed. The overall results can be analyzed based on their suitability for stability and security of supply. Finally, the IPA assesses the cost-effectiveness and energy efficiency of the proposed solution.
