HANNOVER MESSE 2020,
20 - 24 April
eH11 the third racehorse of the Leibniz University Hanover was a complete novelty in 2011. The first electrically powered racecar!
Despite the incorporation of the batteries, which added a lot of weight to the car, we were able to keep the overall weight as low as 280 kg by utilizing lighter technologies and components. At 130 hp (2 x 45 kW) this results in a better acceleration than the RH10 which was driven by a combustion engine. In the following years, we even managed to shave off another 67 kg. In one year's time, we had thus taken an important step towards future success and created HorsePower's first ever electrical race car by ourselves.
