Product description

Rising energy costs (electricity, oil, gas) make energy efficiency measures even more important for companies in the production sector. Companies are able to save money both in the planning of new plants as well as in relation to existing plants.

For increasing the energy efficiency, Limón has dedicated itself to a customer-specific approach, because standardised activities can only save a fraction of what is possible. However, individal solutions for customers, designed on the basis of a detailed understanding of the procedures, promise the biggest savings potentials. For developing, analysing and implementing the proper measures when it comes to energy efficiency, the necessary understanding of the procedures and the due consideration of the procedures and demands of the customer are imperative.

For maximising the energy efficiency, Limón thus identifies the branch-specific, company-specific and process-specific activities on the basis of the existing workflows and the existing energy situation (energy supply, energy distribution, use of energy).

In the development of measures for increasing the energy efficiency, the following areas will, inter alia, be taken into consideration:

- Air conditioning and ventilation technology
- Heating technology
- Refrigeration technology
- Process heat
- Machine technology and installation engineering
- Heat and refrigeration integration
- Compressed air technology
- Pumps and motors
- Combined power-heat-refrigeration
- Thermal insulation
- Lighting technology

For example, measures include the optimisation of single procedures or machines by way of adjustment of parameters or new controlling concepts. Furthermore, the saving of energy can be achieved by taking into consideration the interaction between the individual machines respectively between the machines and the building. An intelligent controlling system helps reducing peak demands and th
