For version 10/2018 elastic deformation of gear bodies and support for elastic deformations of bearing rings were added to the MESYS Shaft System Calculation. As before FEA-based 3D-elastic parts can be defined parametrically or by CAD import, but the reduction is not done to a single node any more and instead couples the housing deformations to the deformation of bearing rings.
For the calculation of planets the elastic deformation of the gear and of the bearing can be considered in one part.
In version 06/2019 also the contact between elastic bearing ring and housing will be supported. This also allows to include consideration of housing stiffness in the calculation of operating clearance after mounting.
