The flow meter is applicable to all diesel engines (operating from 1l / h to 200l / h), to road and construction machines - from the simplest and oldest diesel, to modern high-tech power units.Working principleThe flowmeter is installed after the reservoir and the fuel filter but before the fuel injection pump.The incoming fuel from the fuel tank to the engine goes through the EMF where it is measured and the reported data is sent to the GPS controller and the software, and the excess fuel returns to the EMF and goes back to burn out. In this way the temperature of the incoming fuel is kept relatively constant and the erros is minimized. The appliance also has an automatic deaeration system.The EMF allows the following parameters to be observed :Fuel consumption - momentary,liters per 100km,liters per hour.Unauthorized deviation of fuel from the vehicle fuel system or stationary aggregatesLink between revolutions, speed and fuel consumptionBattery voltageDynamic Fuel ConsumptionThe flowmeter acounts the fuel actually consumed, regardless of the operating conditions and the load on the machine. On the basis of the reported momentary fuel consumption, the different modes of operation (idle, load, overloaded) can be classified.
The GPS software is developed and maintained entirely by IG Engineering. The access is web-based through a user name and password.
