PV fuse-links are especially optimized for the protection of photovoltaic systems. They are NH or cylindrical type fuselinks according to the international standard IEC 60269-6 respectively the national standards DIN VDE 0636-6 and NFC 63 210.
The IEC 60269-6 defi nes the specifi c requirements in the utilization category gPV, which are fulfi lled by JEAN MÜLLER PV fuses.
• NH fuse-links for photovoltaic applications are mainly applied in PV array junction boxes or directly in central inverters.
• Fuse-bases off er space saving protection when applied in central inverters or PV array junction boxes.
• The JEAN MÜLLER fuseway for photovoltaic applications is based on busbar mountable distribution components and allows for a time- and space-saving installation.

JEAN MÜLLER fuses for photovoltaic applications off er a breaking capacity designed according to the requirements of photovoltaic installations.
Performance data of installed fuses cannot be altered or adjusted, therefore mismatching and malfunctioning is prevented. Function and characteristics remain unchanged over decades.
High production quality guarantee reliability of the fuselink, high-grade materials ensure consistent technical characteristics over a long period of time. Non-ageing materials are used for melting elements accordingly.
NH fuse-links off er increased protection against corrosion through a special surface treatment, contact surfaces are silver plated. Power dissipation values of the melting elements have been optimised during long-time research and development.
