<p>For several years, HYDAC has been working to combat electrostatic charging in hydraulic and lubricating systems in order to avoid system damages resulting from this phenomenon such as e.g. damages of electronic components, accelerated generation of oil ageing products (Varnish), blocked or even burnt filter elements and hence failures of core components such as valves or pumps, deflagrations in the tank as well as discharges outside of the system. <br /><br />The innovative HYDAC filter elements against electrostatic discharges in the system support you as operator or machine OEM, to prevent such threads to your workers (Working Conditions Act) or machine users (Machinery Directive). In addition to the already established Stat-Free® media technology, reducing charges in most hydraulic and lubrication systems to nearly harmless levels, HYDAC has recently succeeded in developing a new filter medium, Stat-X®, for use in particularly critical systems. New manufacturing processes have made it possible to dramatically improve the charge-inhibiting effect of the Stat-X® filter medium.<br /><br />By using the innovative Stat-X® elements, you can demonstrably reduce electrostatic discharges and high oil charges even in extremely critical systems with excellent fine filtration.
