With our innovative and sustainable filtration concepts the air separation performance of the entire system can be improved. So, the consequences of air in oil cannot only be significantly reduced, but also the use of smaller hydraulic tanks at same operating conditions is possible. Next to our customers especially the environment benefits from the saved oil amount.<br /><br />Smaller and more complex hydraulic tanks lead to a strongly decreased air separation in the tank and therefore to an increased amount of free air in the hydraulic fluid. Possible consequences of air in oil are among others efficiency losses of the pump, cavitation and the effect of micro dieseling, noise emission, accelerated oil ageing, increase in temperature, changing of oil features and control problems of the machine.<br /><br />In order to counteract this issue, HYDAC offers its customers a comprehensive platform about the topic of tank optimisation.<br /><br />Our priority target is to provide the customer an optimised filter-tank solution. Two carrying pillars support this target. On the one hand there is the technical consultancy and development with simulations, numerical tank investigations as well as laboratory and field tests with a measurement technology developed by HYDAC. On the other hand there is our Air-X technology: It encompasses our Air-X filters, the special Air-X filter elements and complete Plug & Play filter-tank-solutions. Within the AIR-X range we offer different filter concepts with various degassing technologies and stages, depending on the requirements of the customer.
