The VDMA e-mobility forum takes an interdisciplinary approach to dealing with topics and issues relating to electromobility applications and technology. This is because, in practice, transport of tomorrow creates new challenges that are only now becoming relevant - in terms of materials and manufacturing techniques for example.
As two key industries in this field, the automotive and mechanical engineering sectors are also facing both a major challenge and opportunity because now is the time to build the future of mobility in Germany, home to the world's best mechanical engineers and automobile companies.
A central task of the forum is therefore to link the relevant actors, create synergies and promote the transfer of knowhow and development of expertise. To do this, E-MOTIVE combines skills from across 20 professional associations, forums and research associations in the VDMA federation and provides a platform for those involved in industry, science and politics to discuss and find out about e-mobility.
