Securaxis provides the Real Time Event Detector (RTExD), a smart sensor using machine learning and sound localization to support a safe and smart city. Specifically, the RTExD detector detects, localize and categorizes sounds in the urban environment.
Direct applications are traffic management (vehicle type, speed, traffic flow fluctuation), security (gunshots, explosions, car crash, crowd scream) and industrial (predictive maintenance, health of infrastructure). A stand alone or ready for hybridization product.
Our solution is composed of three main components:
A smart sensor: This unit uses a combination of acoustics and machine learning. Based on the tests performed and feedback from the first customers, the combination of these technologies will have many advantages for the management of traffic flows in smart cities. This sensor being able, in addition, to detect sound artifacts such as gunshots, explosions, car collisions and structural failures (bridges, tunnels, buildings) using machine learning and microphones.
A Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition system: This layer connects the city infrastructure with a data analysis stack and is the Securaxis backbone. The technology behind is C2MON, a highly scalable control and monitoring software framework. It is based on a three-tier architecture system, incorporating a data acquisition layer that can accommodate heterogeneous data sources, a high availability redundant server layer and a flexible and user friendly data presentation layer.
A unified data analytics layer: A platform unifying machine learning and traffic management processes to provide a complete picture of the security situation to end-users.
