The software tool IPS Virtual Paint - Sealing allows detailed simulations of the sealing deposition process taking the complex material rheology and surface flow into account. In combination with the IPS Robot Optimization module, the software can be used to optimize a sealing robot cell, to minimize the cycle time, improve bead quality and reduce material consumption.Users of IPS Virtual Paint - Sealing carry out realistic simulations of sealing material laydown including the complex rheology of the material. They benefit from a straightforward and intuitive simulation setup that requires no expertise on computational tools. Special features are also the extremely robust, accurate and fast algorithms with immediate visualization, the coupling to path planning software for optimization of complete robot cells and the deposition of glue and adhesive material. The users also benefit in terms of computation time and speed when using this tool (example: application of one meter of sealing material per hour of simulation time, substantially shortened product preparation time).
