At Mekoprint we have great expertise in micro machining - therefore we also offer our customers laser welding of fine mechanics in very thin material using top modern machines.

Laser welding is an incredibly high-tech and efficient welding method where the following benefits are achieved:

• A shorter welding time and thus increased productivity.
• An automated welding with high uniform quality.
• Effective control of the heat, so that even ultra-thin fine mechanics can be welded with minimal heat impact on the materials.
• Rare need for finishing due to the beautiful finish.

Laser welding of fine mechanics at Mekoprint takes place in high precision on the machine type LLT MLA 500.

The machine's direct drive axes ensure a positioning accuracy of +/- 0.002 mm and a repetition accuracy of +/- 0.0001 mm, which matches the absolute best on the market.

We can work in many different materials, typically in stainless steel, nickel silver, aluminum and steel in thicknesses from 0.03 to 1.0 mm.
If you are interested in producing the topic for laser welding, we naturally also have the opportunity to offer this in the form of the technologies punching, etching and laser cutting.

In laser welding, it is possible, in situations, to weld two different materials, for example aluminum and copper, which will normally be a difficult process.
