By using Machine@Hand, employees and trainees immerse into a virtual working and learning environment. With the help of visual instructions, augmented reality (AR) guides technical staff through maintenance or installation work. Data - such as texts, images, and videos with instructions for the following work stages - are superimposed on a real camera image in the correct position. At the same time, users can look inside machines and see how each movement is performed correctly at each position. In this way, operation and maintenance processes are reality-oriented and easy to understand.In addition, virtual reality (VR) enables practical learning in training and education as the trainees work together on a virtual image of a machine. They experience the work process directly and interactively. With the help of Machine@Hand, meetings can be held in virtual reality now. Group members are able to discuss their ideas in real time or attach notes and comments directly on the respective objects by using virtual stickers. That way, every employee and trainee can access all the relevant information or share their ideas and activities among each other.
