Product description

Scoop at Hannover Messe! Flanders Make presents its MAKE LAB. This is a mobile research laboratory in which companies can try out new technologies and collaborative human-robot processes. Visitors can test how a robot works side-by-side with a human operator and discover the added value of Virtual and Augmented Reality in a production environment. With its MAKE LAB, Flanders Make supports manufacturing companies in the further development and innovation of their production facilities and methods.

The MAKE LAB mimics a state-of-the-art production environment. As such, both large and small companies can try out new technologies in a realistic situation, work in co-creation on the development of new production processes and validate the economic and technical feasibility of a solution.

What to expect? A small factory of the future, as it were, in which the human operator remains central. That means that robots take care of the (figurative and literal) heavy lifting, whilst humans benefit from the support of tailored instructions. Mixed Reality training helps them assimilate new processes, even before the parts are actually there. Such factories can carry through changes faster and accordingly, increase the flexibility of their production process.

As a visitor of the MAKE LAB at Hannover Messe, you get to experience every step of the way! Come meet us and watch a robot assemble a random series of light switches, learn how operators with different levels of experience collaborate with a robot and immerge yourself in a VR training for the assembly of compressor parts.

You can locate our booth in hall 8, stand E22 and the MAKE LAB just outside of hall 8.
