Mechanical impact testing is carried out on products. They are used to assess the level of protection against harmful external mechanical impacts such as vandalism or accidental contact.
Our impact testing rig has been built to conform to IEC 60068-2-75 and the pendulum hammer has been calibrated to apply the following IK codes below.
IK07, IK08, IK09, IK10.

Our trellis frame test rig is fully reconfigurable to allow for a variety of sudden impact testing requirements. We build to rig to suit the required swig arc, distance from test rig, force etc.
Product standards and end-user requirements are more often than not proven using brand new products or materials. You may need to prove that after a period of ageing or exposure to weather your product maintains its strength and durability.
