The MESYS Shaft Calculation allows the calculation of coaxial shaft systems considering nonlinear bearing stiffness of rolling bearings. All inputs of MESYS Rolling Bearing Calculation are available in the shaft calculation too. The tilting angle of shafts is automatically considered in calculation of bearing life. A calculation using load spectra is possible and natural frequencies considering gyroscopic effect or harmonic response can be calculated for the coupled system. The modal shapes are shown as 3D animation.
