Lightweight design, rigidity, energy efficiency in construction: Properties such as extraordinary flatness, excellent rigidity and low weight make Metawall the appropriate choice for curtain wall façades. The special structure, the edge design especially developed for façades and the possibility of invisible fixing with suitable, commercially available sub-construction is all part of Metawall®.
The architect has the choice between thicknesses of 10 and 15 mm and a maximum size of up to 1470 x 6000 mm. The peculiarity of the edge design is that for the visual appearance of a 10 mm Metawall® panel only 2.0 mm of solid aluminium is needed.
Moreover, even in large formats Metawall remains dimensionally stable and flat and this with a weight of only 5.7 kg/m² with a panel thickness of 10 mm.
Colours according to RAL, NCS, BS and Pantone and different gloss levels, customised and other designs can easily be realised. Opposite to other sandwich panels Metawall® offers a powder-coating capability, which is available upon request.
For the products Metawall® B1 and Metawall® A2 environmental product declarations and fire classifications are available.
