Product description

Mac Panther Materials produces and sells open-cell metal foams. This bionic material of the future is based on nature´s blueprint developed over millions of years.

The porous structure of metal foams offers excellent lightweight and energy absorption properties, a large surface, the possibility of getting flown through, a high temperature and chemical resistance, good heat conductivity, sound and vibration dampening properties and many more. As these properties are unified in one material, open-cell metal foams offer the user numerous advantages or technical solutions at a time and thus a unique multifunctionality.

Metal foams have a very wide spectrum of possible applications due to the plurality of functional properties. The adaption of the metal foam properties to the customer´s requirements is quick and easy due to our patented manufacturing method. This production process guarantees a high reproducibility which makes a serial production with large quantities possible.
