The introduction of the composite materials of certain activators of sintering makes it possible to optimize their physical characteristics and increase tool life.Composite materials based on diamond:Hardness - 60-80 GPa;Fracture - 8-10 MPa m1/2;Abrasiveness - sm3/mg 400-500;Grain size - 10-40 microns.Composite materials based on cubic boron nitride:Hardness - 30-45 GPa;Fracture toughness - 12-16 MPa m1/2;Resistance when turning hardened steels (HRC 52-54) - 60 min.;Grain size - 5-30 microns.
