HANNOVER MESSE 2020,
20 - 24 April
Götting WLAN / WiFi technology is regularly used for the communication between Automated Guided Vehicles (AGV) and the master control station. The WLAN clients are compliant to EN 300 328 V1.8.1, use modern encryption protocols and allow the connection of devices with ethernet or serial interfaces to wireless networks according to the 802.11 a/b/g/n standard.
The WLAN clients are available in different versions with mounting links or mounting parts for top hat rail attachment. For applications with constricted room open circuit boards (no casing) are avilable that can be integrated into the vehicle electronics.
Depending on the version 1, 2 or 4 ethernet ports are available. The serial interface allows the use of the clients when retrofitting existing applications where the vehicle controller still relies on the serial conection. Addionally the WLAN clients have a slumber relay. Via this relay the master control can put battery-driven vehicles into standby mode wirelessly and wake them again.
Also customers from other industries do benefit from Götting's experience in the area of wireless data transmission. As an example Götting has designed an OEM system for real-time radio data transmission which is part of the packaging machines manufactured by a large producer located in Crailsheim, Germany.
