Product description

Inhibitors are prepared which represent a derivative of indolin-2-on substituted at the C3 atom, and which inhibit the activity of receptor-tyrosine kinase. Receptor tyrosine kinase are often involved in uncontrolled cell replication, disturbed apoptosis, filariasis, or a disease dependent on angiogenesis. The inhibitors are low-molecular inhibitors entering cells which, single or in combination, block the activity of receptor-tyrosine kinase. The receptor-tyrosine kinases are primarily VEGFR-3 (Vascular Endothelial Cell Growth Factor Receptor), VEGFR-2, Tie2, EGFR (Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor), ErbB2, IGF1R, and FGFR1 (Fibroblast Growth Factor Receptor) which, for instance, are involved in angiogenesis. The inhibitors can be used both when looking for pharmaceutical lead structures and as tools in molecular biology, for instance as selective ATP-competitive inhibitors of phosphorylation of VEGFR-3 kinase.
