RH10 - our race car from the 2010 season, which won the overall competition at Formula Student Spain. As the second car driven by a combustion engine, this car also marks the end of this short era.The bar for RH10 was set very high. It was our goal to optimize RP09's concept and eliminate the weaknesses. The biggest alternation we encountered was the switch from a 1-cylinder KTM engine to a 4-cylinder Yamaha engine. The frame was not only adapted to the new powertrain, but also optimized in other areas. Furthermore, we strove to develop all of the car's components to reach a new level of efficiency, and were especially focused on the chassis and the motor. We had high hopes to reach the physical limit of performance with a perfect set up. In addition to shaving off some of the overall weight, we also aimed at reducing the number of parts to simplify production processes as much as possible.
