Product description

STEIGENTECH POWERPLUS™ Narrow Wedge V-Belts are specially constructed to deliver till 50% higher performance than standard narrow wedge V-belts and are particularly suited to heavy-duty and agricultural applications as well as industrial machines.

STEIGENTECH POWERPLUS™ Narrow Wedge V-belts combine transversal polychloroprene and heavy-duty wrapping cover, which makes them ideal for extreme low temperatures - down to -40 °C. The material design has good resistance to abrasion, dust and other external aggressors, including mineral oil, ozone and UV.

This modern polychloroprene belt is a high-performance product that incorporates STEIGENTECH’s specially-treated polyester tension cords. These are encapsulated within a special fibre compound to achieve a higher dynamic load, greater flexibility and low stretch.

With the STEIGENTECH POWERPLUS™ Narrow Wedge V-belt, drive performance is improved with strong and consistent contact between the V-pulley and the V-belt. This increases energy efficiency and belt lifetime, while the belt’s inherent flexibility allows for smaller pulley applications and the use of back idlers in a more compact design.

The STEIGENTECH POWERPLUS™ Narrow Wedge V-belt is manufactured to the highest international manufacturing and quality standards available (ISO 4148, RMA/MPTA; designated to be used with V-pulleys according to DIN2211). The STEIGENTECH POWERPLUS™ Narrow Wedge V-belt is electrically conductive in accordance with ISO 1813 and meets the RoHs and REACH requirements.

The narrow wedge V-belt is available in the SPZ, SPA, SPB, SPC, 3V, 5V and 8V sections, in single and in banded versions.
