Wireless vibration sensor for predictive maintenance of rotating machines such as motors, pumps, compressors and fans. Simply mount Vibration Motes on your assets and kickstart a wireless predictive maintenance program. It is powered by a standard 3V battery and sends high-resolution data using WiFi to the Petasense ARO Cloud. The device is IP67 and ATEX Zone 1 rated.
The product comes in two models - Model 1 (1.6 kHz Fmax) is ideal for detecting late-stage bearing failures and common shaft-related defects like misalignment, looseness and imbalance in most motors, pumps and fans. Model 2 (5.5 kHz Fmax) is recommended for detecting early stage bearing failures & gear mesh defects in critical rotating machines, including compressors and gearboxes.
