The WyRefueler 350/120 is a standalone tank system for filling hydrogen tank systems such as those found in buses or trucks. It can provide 120 kg of hydrogen per day. The system is equipped with smart control, works autonomously, and can be accessed 24/7 via remote maintenance.
Wystrach developed the WyRefueler as an H2-Share partner. Approved by the EU’s Interreg North-West Europe program and coordinated by WaterstofNet, the H2-Share project aims to develop a hydrogen-fueled truck that will help reduce emissions from heavy-duty trucks in everyday traffic.
Starting in 2019, the system will enter an 18-month period of test operation at several European locations. This will give selected fleet operators the opportunity to test zero-emission vehicles. As things stand, the tender process for the WyRefueler is set to begin in fall 2019.
