Technical oriented MBA (1/3 engineer and 2/3 MBA) – employed at UTBW since 2015. Holds a PhD in economics with an interdisciplinary thesis about “Industrial Ecology”. Before he started at UTBW he worked as sustainability researcher at University of Stuttgart, unw Ulm e.V. and Dialogik gGmbH. He has experience in FP 5, FP 7 and ESF projects. Main topics were Environmental Management of enterprises and industrial areas, regional approaches to sustainable development, the role of civil society and CSR. At UTBW he is Project Manager for the project “100 enterprises for Resource Efficiency”, is currently developing a management game for eco-design processes in SME and has organised a field-study about the openness of SME for co-operation in industrial areas in order to improve resource efficiency. Recent project is Di-Plast which is the topic of the presentation.
