Until 2015, he did his PhD study in applied mathematical modelling at the University of Southern Denmark (SDU). His PhD thesis dealt with the reduction of underwater noise propagation. Since his master studies, Dr. Göttsche works as a lecturer at the FH Kiel. He teaches technical mechanics and applied FEM simulations.
In 2010-2016, Dr. Göttsche worked as project engineer and later as senior project engineer at SMILE-FEM. Since 2016, Dr. Göttsche is general manager and managing partner of SMILE-FEM.
