Martina Prox, M.A., born 1971: "For me, innovation, sustainable production and IT have belonged together for over 20 years". For the ifu Institut für Umweltinformatik Hamburg GmbH - Member of iPoint Group, she accompanies companies on their way to sustainable production in the selection and introduction of suitable software solutions. Today, this means above all shaping the paths to the Digital Circular Economy in the sense of a continuous, digital life-cycle management process that ensures not only legal compliance but also supports the sustainability of products, value chains and brands.
She has experience as a lecturer in several master programmes, teaching methodologies and instruments which support corporations to deal with the challenges of sustainable development, especially with all issues related to the efficient and effective use of resources in production and service systems. As a German delegate she contributes to the development of international standards of the ISO 14 000 series including, ISO 14051, ISO 14052, ISO 14067, ISO/TS 14071, ISO/TS 14072 etc.
As founder member and president of the board of the Forum for Sustainability through Life Cycle Innovation e.V. (FSLCI), a global NGO, Martina Prox supports the cooperation of the Life Cycle Community with other actors in the sustainability context, e.g. in order to establish the use of Life Cycle Information more broadly and thus enable sustainable innovations.
