Dr. Philipp Rosenberg (M) studied mechanical engineering at the Karlsruhe Institute for Technology (KIT) and specialized in automotive and polymer engineering. In 2012, after successful completion of his studies, he started to work at Fraunhofer ICT as scientist and project leader. During this time, he gained experience in processing of thermoset continuous fiber reinforced plastics especially with the High-Pressure Resin transfer molding process (HP-RTM process). In 2018 he finalized his phD thesis which deals with the development of a new RTM process variant – the pressure controlled RTM. Currently he is leading the structural composites research group at Fraunhofer ICT which focusses on the development of the wet compression molding and RTM process chain, pultrusion and prepreg processing.
