From Design to Digital Twin
Many companies still lack seamless data flows from design to manufacturing. At HANNOVER MESSE 2026, Contelos will showcase Digital Twin solutions at the Autodesk booth.

Contelos is a medium-sized CAD systems provider based in Gehrden near Hanover. The company works with clients of all sizes and across various industries nationwide. At HANNOVER MESSE 2026, Contelos will focus on automated semi-finished product management in Vault Professional. The solution helps companies manage material data consistently and standardize design processes. This reduces sources of error and accelerates workflows.
In addition, the Autodesk Gold Partner will provide insights into approaches for an Integrated Factory Model (IFM), which more closely links product design and factory planning. With the help of visual planning, production environments can be simulated early on and optimized in a targeted manner. Solutions for PDM and PLM will also be a focus. Use cases for Vault Professional and Fusion Manage will be presented, demonstrating how information can be structured and made available across departments throughout the entire product lifecycle.
The platform level plays a key role here: With Autodesk Platform Services (APS), companies can consolidate data from various sources and make it available for Digital Twin applications that digitally map products and processes. The team demonstrates how this data can be presented in an understandable way using visualization and animation solutions. This allows complex content to be clearly presented, for example, for internal coordination or in customer communications. A special highlight in this context is an interactive workshop on Extended Reality (XR), where visitors can immediately experience design reviews using 3D glasses. This makes it tangible how planning and coordination processes can be implemented in immersive environments in a practical way. The portfolio is complemented by tools for quality assurance. With the 3D Model Inspector, the industrial software solution specialist is introducing a tool for automated model and structure verification. It enables rapid analysis of Inventor models and supports consistent data integrity.
Visitors can also learn about Contelos’ training and professional development offerings, which are available both on-site and remotely. “Companies are increasingly facing the challenge of holistically digitizing their processes. What matters here is not just the introduction of individual tools, but above all their meaningful integration into existing structures. At HANNOVER MESSE, they can get a firsthand look at the solutions and discuss specific use cases,” says Thomas Schimkewitsch, Co-Managing Director of Contelos.
As part of HANNOVER MESSE, Autodesk’s Digital Factory Summit 2026 will also take place on April 22, 2026. The event offers additional insights into current developments in digital factory planning and industrial digitalization.
