At the end of May, the Munich-based mobile security technology group and the French payment and transaction services company announced their cooperation in the field of industrial IoT security. Their cooperation will focus on the Codex Connectivity Platform (CCP) of Atos subsidiary Worldline , which connects Industry 4.0 machines with the cloud. CPS Protect from G+D Mobile Security (CPS stands for "cyber physical system") will in future act as a gatekeeper and security solution for end devices that connect to the platform.

CPS Protect should above all make existing systems, which were not capable of establishing a secure connection on their own, CCP-capable. Especially in IIoT scenarios, such as for predictive maintenance, remote maintenance or condition monitoring, it is nevertheless important that as many relevant data points as possible are reliably connected. The combined solution was already presented at the Hannover Messe (Hanover Trade Fair) 2018 in April.
