Hannover, Germany. The pavilion for the massive forming industry will have a whole new design at the upcoming HANNOVER MESSE, although the location remains the same – Hall 4, the home of Industrial Supply , the leading trade fair for innovative supplier solutions and lightweight construction. There, the association for the massive forming industry will highlight products and innovations from 18 different companies – from 24 to 28 April.

"As dynamic suppliers with lots of 'hidden champions' and world-leading technology, our industry helps its customers increase the economy, efficiency and sustainability of their products and applications," reports Tobias Hain, President of Industrieverband Massivumformung – Germany's massive forming industrial association.

"The pavilion has an innovative, captivatingly open and user-friendly design, with a central meeting hub consisting of a shared marketplace which can also be used for catering purposes." explains Dorothea Bachmann Osenberg, Director of Press and Public Relations at the massive forming association, adding: "The stand has separate lounges which exhibitors can use for customer conversations, while still keeping an eye on their stand. The topic clusters at the pavilion, including warm forming, cold forming, aluminum and massive forming partners, reflect the full range of massive forming technology."

The main synergies for the massive forming industry at this year's HANNOVER MESSE are with the mechanical engineering segments inside the MDA, ComVac and Energy trade fairs. With regard to drive technology, products like gears, shafts or transmissions are in demand. And the power plant construction industry, particularly in the area of wind power, is also a key customer for massive forming products like generator shafts or ring flanges.

"In a more general context, visitors will benefit from the industrial macro-topics featured at HANNOVER MESSE – for instance automation, Industry 4.0 and new materials," reports Hain. "Our massive forming companies and their potential customers will find a uniquely concentrated presentation of the latest trends and technologies, saving time and money in tracking down what they need."

And the central Industrial Supply Forum in Hall 5 will feature massive forming themes in five presentations on Tuesday, 25 April, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
