Arno Reich is "very pleased" with the number of registrations for Motion, Drive & Automation (MDA). The halls are fully booked and all the major market leaders are represented according to the Project Head of MDA at HANNOVER MESSE in an interview with the magazine "fluid".

"We are expecting exhibitors from around 40 countries; in addition to Germany this especially includes Italy, China, Turkey and France, As this year’s Partner Country, India also has a strong presence."

With the motto "integrated Industry – Join the Network" HANNOVER MESSE focuses on Industry 4.0 for the third year in a row. "Drive and fluid technology is an integral part of smart factories and intelligent products, a condition that sets the pace of innovation," explains Reich. "For this reason the exhibitors at MDA, which is held every two years, will address this topic and present innovative approaches."

Companies such as Parker Hannifin, Bosch Rexroth, Schaeffler and SKF will showcase the latest developments and newest products this April at Industry 4.0. In addition, the theme will be demonstrated in Hall 24 directly next to the MDA Forum . Furthermore, at the MDA Forum itself, Industry 4.0 will also be addressed. Energy efficiency, sustainability condition monitoring systems, solutions for wind energy and sealing technology are all on the agenda of the forum, which is organized jointly with VDMA.

According to Reich the concept behind the trade show is closely developed with exhibitor committees, VDMA as the ideal supporter, and visitors. “That way, we can make sure that the arrangement, supporting program and communication strategy as well as its integration into HANNOVER MESSE also conforms to the needs of the market.” Reich believes that close partnership with the industry is especially important "since in the end, the right people need to come together at the trade show in order to create business."

The MDA Project Head did not want to speculate on the number of visitors in 2015 in the interview with "fluid". "However, since MDA is truly a major industry event with all the key market players, numerous product roll-outs and an attractive, informative event program," Reich is "very confident that MDA 2015 will be a strong, successful experience for all participants."
