The "Industry meets Renewables" conference aims to make this transformation process tangible and to highlight the opportunities this change offers for Germany as a business location. It focusses in particular on industry. "In order to make the switch to 100 percent renewable energies in industry, production processes must be made more flexible and synchronized with the volatile generation from wind and solar power with the help of flexible generation from biogas, for example - the regulatory framework for this industrial transformation needs to be created soon," says Torge Wendt, Managing Director of Nordgröön Energie GmbH and member of the board of watt_2.0.
