With the optoNCDT ILR3800-100, Micro-Epsilon is presenting its latest laser distance sensor with particularly high signal stability and precision on different surfaces. Measurements can be taken up to 150 meters with and up to 100 meters without a reflector. The measurement rate is 20 hertz with a resolution of 0.1 millimeters. OEM users in particular benefit from the high reproducibility and excellent linearity. The robust aluminum housing, low sensor weight and IP67 protection class offer ideal conditions for integration into industrial processes, according to the manufacturer.
Thanks to the integrated AUTO measurement mode, the ILR3800-100 also measures accurately and reliably on dark, partially reflective and distant targets. The sensor is used wherever precise measurement values are required over long distances, including in transportation, logistics and conveyor technology, automation technology and the metal and steel industry. Settings can be made very easily using the sensorTOOL software, among other things.
The ILR3800-100-H variant has been developed for extreme conditions in outdoor applications. Equipped with a heating system, it enables measurements in temperatures ranging from minus 40 to plus 55 degrees Celsius. The sensor can be quickly attached using the integrated mounting plate with four threaded pins. An aluminum mounting plate is optionally available for a secure hold and exact alignment.
