Following the outstanding success of the 1st World Interoperability Conference 2019 with over 350 participants, Hannover Messe, the OPC Foundation and VDMA are jointly organizing the World Interoperability Conference - 2nd Edition.

This will take place:

on May 30, 2022
from 12:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Hannover Messe site
Hall 19, Room New York

While in 2019 a total of 38 industry groups had presented themselves with their semantic definitions, this year the focus is on the harmonization of the groups and the so-called Global Production Language. Another highlight is the contribution of all major cloud providers, who for the first time have committed to a common standardized data exchange from the shop floor to the cloud. The topic of sustainability in production through interoperable data will round off the day.

Speakers from the areas of cloud, automotive, mechanical engineering as well as the organizations OPC Foundation and VDMA will report from industrial practice and provide information on upcoming trends.

As usual, the free conference will take place parallel to the Hannover Messe and will be organized in such a way that both trade fair visitors and conference attendees only can participate equally.

The conference offers a unique opportunity to obtain information on both strategic and content-related issues and innovations in a condensed form.
