Only when objects carry a clearly visible identification are they detectable for corresponding reading systems and subsequently usable for databases. This smart, industrial identification - for example by means of serial numbers, barcodes or QR codes - is the speciality of Bluhm Systeme from Rheinbreitbach near Bonn. At HANNOVER MESSE 2023, the experts for international labelling solutions will be showing a future-proof and resource-saving range of options based on ink, laser and labels.

Low-wear label dispenser with reduced compressed air consumption

The Legi-Air 4050 E has a modular design. The motorised operation of the rewinder and unwinder reduces wear and tear on the print module. At the same time, the prints are extremely precise. The modulated vacuum is said to reduce compressed air consumption by up to 80 percent. As standard, the Legi-Air 4050 E label printer fulfils all the requirements of EN415-10.

Fibre laser labeller with workstation

Lightworx, a professional workstation with an integrated, powerful fibre laser, is suitable for entry-level industrial laser marking. It is said to achieve a service life of up to 100,000 hours. The marking fields range in size from 100 x 100 to 300 x 300 millimetres and are thus well suited for type plates, housings or tools. The stand-alone solution is about the size of a fridge-freezer combination.

Razor-sharp and lightning-fast

With print speeds of up to 150 metres per minute at 300 dots per inch (dpi), the Markoprint integra PP RAZR inkjet printer applies clear text information, codes and graphics to variable surfaces at above-average speed. Print quality of up to 600 dpi and a maximum print height of 34 millimetres are possible. Intermediate tank and double nozzle channels are also said to make the Performance Piezo triple process-safe.

Extremely fast drying

According to Bluhm, the Linx 8900 inkjet printer can be easily adapted to cramped production conditions. A six-metre printhead hose provides more flexibility, and the printhead itself only needs to be cleaned every three months. Maintenance takes around

30 minutes and can be carried out by your own skilled staff. The Linx 8900 continuously monitors ink and solvent levels and is said to be able to automatically adjust ink viscosity as required.

Intuitive high-speed print controller

The Markoprint X4Jet enables different printing technologies to be controlled simultaneously or alternately. With a character size of three to 400 millimetres, it prints primary and secondary packaging on both sides, even with particularly large barcodes, company logos and quality marks. The control system is available for HP, Trident, Xaar and Funai printing technologies.

For large characters in rugged environments

The recirculating ink system of the Markoprint Integra PP 108 inkjet printer is said to ensure that no nozzles fail and the print image remains brilliant at all times, even in harsh production environments. A unique feature, according to its developers, is the bicolour version, which uses two ink colours simultaneously, for example for GHS labelling in black and red or green and blue.

For pallets and large containers

Bluhm's AP 182 pallet labeller can apply two or three different labels on different sides. It is said to be able to reach top speeds of 120 pallets per hour for two-sided labelling and 90 pallets per hour for three-sided labelling. The swivelling applicator head dispenses the individually printed labels over a short distance by air blast or directly onto the pallet.
