In 2026, SEW-EURODRIVE will once again set off on an expedition into the future of drive and automation technology with its digital spaceship at HANNOVER MESSE—this year in Hall 13, Booth C68. There, visitors will embark on a virtual journey to the exhibits arranged in planetary formations. “The central starting point of every journey is our Mission Control Center in the middle of the booth,” says Torben Halama, Head of Corporate Communications at SEW-EURODRIVE, describing the concept. “From this center, interested visitors take control of the digital spaceship and the motion exhibits displayed on the planets themselves.” This interactive experience offers new insights into the world of customized and sustainable technologies and software-defined automation, for example through the new OrchestrationSuite management tool and AI-supported solutions.

SEW-EURODRIVE Integrates Partner Country Brazil

SEW-EURODRIVE has been represented in the largest country on the South American continent since 1978. Therefore, this year’s HANNOVER MESSE partner country will also play a special role at the SEW-EURODRIVE booth. “At the booth, we’ll highlight industries typical of the country and their applications,” explains Torben Halama. “These include a sugarcane press, a cable car drive, a bakery dosing machine, and a coffee sack conveyor system.”

Interactive Experience Area with Motion Model and DriveResearch

Under the “DriveResearch” umbrella, experts from SEW-EURODRIVE work in specialized research groups and in cooperation with universities and colleges on the technological foundations for the products and solutions of tomorrow. Visitors can interactively experience how basic research, technology, and product development work together and interlock at the Bruchsal-based drive specialist’s booth in the interactive experience area.

Robotics as a New Focus Area

Another key focus of SEW-EURODRIVE at the trade show is the topic of robotics. Here, the drive and automation specialist aims to showcase its strengths in this growth market through several application examples. Using innovative solutions for delta and articulated-arm robots, visitors will be able to experience firsthand that, thanks to its comprehensive product portfolio, the company has all the components needed to develop and offer “out-of-the-box” complete solutions for robotics technology.

Artificial Intelligence as a Radar for Maintenance Issues

The family-owned company based in Baden is increasingly utilizing artificial intelligence in a variety of ways. At HANNOVER MESSE 2026, visitors will learn through numerous applications and case studies how SEW-EURODRIVE uses its own AI solutions to, for example, commission conveyor lines faster and more easily, make production processes more efficient, and provide more targeted support to customers. Of particular note here is the DriveRadar solution: AI continuously analyzes condition data and uses algorithms to detect patterns that indicate malfunctions. This allows maintenance needs to be identified early on, before a shutdown occurs.

Daily presentations, open talks, and award-winning booth design

Daily presentations and open panel discussions (Open Talks) round out SEW-EURODRIVE’s exhibition program at HANNOVER MESSE 2026. With the futuristic design of the SEW-EURODRIVE booth, the commissioned stand builder ET Global won both the prestigious German Design Award and the Galaxy Award last year. Reason enough for SEW-EURODRIVE to revisit this successful concept. Torben Halama is accordingly looking forward to the trade show: “At HANNOVER MESSE 2026, we will certainly be among the major visitor magnets once again. We look forward to inviting visitors to an exciting journey into the future of automation in Hall 13, spanning over 1,800 square meters.”
