A new chassis makes cars 50% lighter
Former Formula One designer Gordon Murray uses aluminum and carbon fiber instead of steel to reduce the weight of cars. Thanks to its modular design, the chassis should be suitable for all types of vehicles, from sports cars to SUVs to urban e-cars.

Gordon Murray also designed a car seat using the same materials as for the chassis. It should weigh about 30% less than a conventional seat and be suitable for a wide variety of needs and purposes. According to the manufacturer, it could also be used in trains or aircraft.
