Blue Danube Robotics GmbH from Vienna is best known for its patented "AIRSKIN", a robust, pressure-sensitive skin that can be easily and directly mounted on standard industrial robots from KUKA, Stäubli or Epson to make them collaborative. With the introduction of the "AIRSKIN Journey", the company is now taking the next big step towards professionalization and internationalization. The "AIRSKIN Journey" is a training program that introduces and trains "AIRSKIN" employees in all areas of the company. The training system was launched on January 1, 2024 and is intended to help further expand the company's position in the market as a fenceless expert.

According to Blue Danube Robotics, the new "AIRSKIN" training system, which is based on the Teach on Mars framework, is a system for everyone and everything. It consists of a variety of learning courses and offers individual development paths for employees, which are fully integrated into the existing system. The training system can be used both mobile and on the PC. A clear course structure and a high level of transparency guide employees through their tasks and responsibilities within the company.

The initial stage of the training system is still purely internal and will be continuously improved based on experience and adaptations. In the long term, the "AIRSKIN Journey" is intended to be a simple, clear and comprehensive training system that also trains and educates external partners and customers. This will form the basis for "AIRSKIN" to build up an efficient partner network in the long term.
