With increasing digitalisation and electrification, the demands on service and maintenance personnel for hydraulics are growing. Bosch Rexroth is now making its extensive hydraulics and service expertise available to them worldwide in real time with the Hydraulic Hub all-in-one digital solution.
Fast and targeted assistance in the event of faults
The digital platform offers support from fault detection to solution identification and documentation. This should make it possible to operate Rexroth hydraulic systems even more efficiently and effectively, as on-site personnel – whether they are experienced hydraulic engineers or novices – can receive fast and targeted help in the event of faults. The solution also supports the preventive maintenance of hydraulic systems and Rexroth components, for example by creating maintenance plans and checklists. All service and maintenance personnel can benefit from the Hydraulic Hub – from technical directors to service and support managers to technicians.
Intuitive user interface on all end devices
The Hydraulic Hub can be accessed via a web browser. The web application has an intuitive user interface and is compatible with all end devices – from computers, laptops and tablets to smartphones. Service personnel can access apps on a range of service topics via the home page. Users can already use the platform to quickly and easily identify almost half a million Rexroth industrial hydraulic components and access product-related service knowledge and processes – for example, data sheets, service manuals, diagnostic tools, spare parts, maintenance checklists, product lifecycle information and associated recommendations for maintaining smooth operation.
Smart support through AI-based tools
With the help of AI-based tools, the Hydraulic Hub increases efficiency and productivity in service: for example, service personnel can use the ‘Smart Assistant’ to interactively request product information to get answers to specific questions. According to its developers, ‘Smart Diagnosis’ enables quick identification of faults based on a description of symptoms or entry of a fault code. Service personnel receive tailored solutions for faster troubleshooting. A connector is optionally available for users of electro-hydraulic components. This component enables them to carry out service tasks such as troubleshooting or maintenance directly on the products as part of offline workflows. Users can access all the Hydraulic Hub's functions with a quarterly or annual subscription.
