Roboverse Reply, the expert for integration scenarios in the field of robotics, has developed an integrated solution for AI-controlled inspection processes in industrial environments together with Siemens. With the “COMOS Mobile Worker” from Siemens – an app that allows service technicians to plan and carry out assignments – companies will in future be able to carry out complex maintenance tasks with autonomous mobile robots (AMR) and drones from different manufacturers in an automated manner. This new feature, which can be activated when setting up the software, is designed to help users increase the lifespan and operational reliability of their equipment.

This is made possible by the seamless integration of the Roboverse Reply Platform into the “COMOS Mobile Worker” app. The platform orchestrates and controls the robots and drones during maintenance and inspection operations centrally and completely automatically. By using advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI) to analyze anomalies, critical problems are detected early and all relevant information is transmitted to employees in real time. If necessary, they can use augmented reality functions and precise navigation to take control manually and intervene in a targeted manner. The high degree of automation enables companies to detect and correct errors earlier and avoid expensive downtime.

Until now, controlling autonomous mobile robots required specialized software and trained personnel to operate, maintain, and, if necessary, adapt them. Due to the shortage of skilled workers and the high costs, the use of mobile robots was associated with major hurdles for most companies. The Roboverse Reply Platform is changing that. Thanks to seamless integration into the familiar “COMOS Mobile Worker” environment from Siemens, personnel should be able to benefit immediately from the support of these smart helpers – without lengthy additional training.
