Supplier companies that use innovative products, excellent value creation processes and sustainable business models to achieve outstanding performance in their sector have been recognized since 2011 by the Best Professional Supplier award created by PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), one of the leading global business consulting and audit companies, HANNOVER MESSE and trade magazine ZulieferMarkt. The 2013 winners are exhibiting at HANNOVER MESSE 2014 on a special presentation podium in Industrial Supply.

The current prize winners – who can henceforth claim the title of “Best Professional Supplier” – are Wieland-Werke from Ulm in the materials & semi-finished products category, Lisi Automotive KKP from Mellrichstadt in the components & custom parts category, and Digades from Zittau in the modules & systems category. The independent jury chaired by Dr. Joachim Metternich, Deputy Head of the Institute of Production Management, Technology and Machine Tools at TU Darmstadt, evaluated a total of 50 companies who had entered the cross-industry supplier competition.
